LEIF VOLLEBEKK From Philosopher to Troubadour – for over a decade, Canadian singer-songwriter Leif Vollebekk has captivated audiences around the world with his touching folk-pop. Growing up in Ottawa with Norwegian and French roots, Vollebekk initially studied philosophy before moving to Montreal to pursue his second great love – music. His debut album "Inland" was released in 2010, largely created during a road trip through Iceland. With the follow-up "North Americana" (2013), he achieved national breakthrough – accompanied by a nomination for the prestigious Canadian Juno Award. In 2017, "Twin Solitude" marked his definitive international success: multiple nominations at major music awards, rave reviews, and sold-out shows in North America, Australia, and Europe. By this time, artists like Maggie Rogers and Fred Again had become devoted fans. The 2019 release "New Ways" continued this triumph – not least due to the use of his songs in popular series like "Feel Good," "Lovesick," and "Untamed."
