CALL IT OFF Call It Off is back and here to stay! The Dutch pop punk band debuted in 2013 and quickly rose to fame with multiple sold-out shows during their headline tours, festival appearances at major festivals, opening slots for New Found Glory and Panic! At The Disco, and their critically acclaimed full-length Sony Music released album charting record “Abandoned” (which spawned the Top 40 single “Scream Your Heart Out”). This led to multiple tours through Europe and Asia. They even earned the title of 3fm’s serious talent on national radio, followed by an award nomination. After announcing a hiatus in 2020, the band emerged from hibernation in 2022 to play their postponed farewell show at a packed Dynamo Eindhoven and bid their goodbyes. True to their spirit, the band does things their own way and isn’t afraid to go against the grain. Original members Sergei and Maurice decided to breathe new life into the band and continue their musical journey as Call It Off. With the blessing of departing members Lesley and Adrian, Sergei and Maurice seized the opportunity to add new enthusiastic members to the band who share the same passion and bring fresh energy to Call It Off. With their drive, style, and approach, new members Timmy and Gio – Timmy being a longtime friend of the band, and Gio the former live keyboard player – helped craft a new and fresh version of the signature Call It Off pop-punk sound. This resulted in the well-received Not Another Sad Album, released in February 2025, and a tour through The Netherlands. Currently, the band is preparing for their Taylor Swift Pop Punk Goes Era’s tour, where they’ll perform Swift songs. An album of Swift covers, titled Thirteen, is planned for October 2025. Call It Off – a staple in the Dutch pop punk scene since 2013 – is taking a different route this winter. In “Eras Tour goes pop punk,” the band pays tribute to their musical hero Taylor Swift with an explosive live show full of raw guitars, scorching drums, and a hefty dose of emotion and nostalgia. From ‘Love Story’ to ‘Fortnight’: Taylor’s biggest hits, completely in Call It Off style. The love for Taylor has been there for years. Drummer Sergei shares: “When I first heard her songs in 2008, it felt like I was listening to my own songwriting.” What started as a joke on the band bus – a short cover just for fun – blew up online so much that fans were begging for more. Now, fresh off the release of their own album Not Another Sad Album, the band is already gearing up to release their next album this fall. A full Taylor Swift cover album is in the works. Call It Off will tour the Netherlands and Belgium with a show that will resonate with both Swifties and punk rock fans alike. They’ve just announced the tour, and it’s almost completely sold out! The band will extend their tour in 2026, taking them through Europe as well.
