AGNOSTIC FRONT, founded in 1982, are among the most respected pioneers of the hardcore genre. No band comes close to their level of musical and social authenticity. The struggle for survival on the streets has undeniably shaped their sound, which, even after more than four decades, has lost none of its impact. Ultimately, it was their socially critical anthems that laid the foundation for true New York hardcore and were crucial to the rise of crossover thrash. After a brief hiatus in the early '90s, the band made a comeback in 1998 with "Something’s Gotta Give," a phenomenal work that marked the beginning of a new era dominated by endless touring and powerful albums. Led by the unmistakable vocals of Roger Miret and the charismatic, razor-sharp guitar work of Vinnie Stigma, AGNOSTIC FRONT has since released various hard-hitting records, culminating in their 2019 album "Get Loud!": a monumental record that underscored the ongoing importance and unbroken spirit of the band. In 2025, AGNOSTIC FRONT signed with the rising metal label Reigning Phoenix Musix to initiate the release of their follow-up album. "Echoes In Eternity" is an angry whirlwind of 15 songs where hardcore punk meets hard-earned wisdom. Alongside politically charged tracks like 'Way Of War' and the unifying anthem 'Turn Up The Volume,' there’s also a surprise on the album: an explosive crossover track featuring legendary hip-hop artist Darryl "DMC" McDaniels. Lyrically, the band once again pulls no punches, tackling themes such as war, betrayal, oppression, personal struggles, and the will to resist. AGNOSTIC FRONT's journey to "Echoes In Eternity" prepares for this fall's "East Meets West" tour with STRUNG OUT, MURPHY’S LAW, and LA ARMADA, which will take them across the States from October 15 (Denver, CO) to November 2 (Garden Grove, CA). Unyielding in terms of sound, spirit, and need for expression, despite lineup changes, industry shifts, and a constantly changing world, AGNOSTIC FRONT has always stood strong over the years - and "Echoes In Eternity" impressively reaffirms that they are by no means slowing down after over 40 years.
